The Donetsk regional government department for recording Ukraine’s war crimes said Ukrainian armed forces carried out 31 attacks on settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, wounding one civilian, according to TASS. Three residential buildings, passenger cars, specialised machinery and three civilian infrastructure facilities sustained damage, the statement said.

A suicide bombing at a roadside police checkpoint in Dera Ismail Khan, in northwestern Pakistan, killed at least 11 people, according to police and rescue officials. At least seven security personnel were among the dead and 20 others were wounded in Saturday’s attack, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police told Al Jazeera. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the Pakistan Taliban, claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement. Local emergency services counted 30 wounded, a figure reported by Reuters.
