Yemen’s government leader Rashad al-Alimi called for a general mobilisation and offered immediate amnesty to Houthi fighters who leave the group, according to Al Jazeera.

He urged Yemenis to join the armed and security forces through official channels and said the pardon will be issued in line with constitutional and legal procedures. Al-Alimi set the objective of restoring state institutions and exercising sovereignty over the entire country, including Sana’a.
