The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Monday that it reclassified an incident in the vicinity of Sohar anchorage in Oman as an attack after confirming that the tanker was struck by a drone, according to the Jerusalem Post, in a Reuters report.

Indian minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that nine Indian crew members have been rescued and are safe and that two Indian nationals remain missing, with search-and-rescue operations underway by the local Coast Guard.
