China and the European Union (EU) held intensive consultations on trade in hybrid and electric vehicles, addressing trade and economic differences in a balanced way, guided by mutual respect and consultations on an equal footing, according to China’s Commerce Ministry cited by Sputnik.

The two sides are continuing dialogue through the trade and investment consultation mechanism and reached agreements aimed at maintaining stable and balanced relations, according to the same source.
