The EU will limit the number of hybrid vehicles imported from China to 350,000 a year, the European Commission has confirmed.
Brussels used World Trade Organization (WTO) rules to impose the 350,000 vehicle-a-year quota quickly, which will halve Chinese market share to 3%. The safeguard measure is expected to take effect as soon as December, according to Bloomberg.
