For the first time since US President Donald Trump’s weekend announcement of an “energy ceasefire”, Russia hit no Ukrainian energy targets on Tuesday and pounded cities’ transport and logistics overnight, according to France 24.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine had not hit Russian refineries for two days, since Trump’s announcement, but that Russia kept up attacks on energy and critical infrastructure during that period. Four people were killed in Russian strikes in Kharkiv and at least a dozen were injured across the country, according to Ukrainian officials.
