Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the sidelines of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit, according to Mehr News.

The two sides discussed ways to develop political, economic and trade ties and stressed the need to accelerate agreed projects. They also discussed regional cooperation and Caspian Sea-related issues, emphasizing stronger cooperation among Caspian littoral states and protection of the sea's environment.
