The Sudanese army said it captured the town of al-Mazroub, a key position of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in North Kordofan, after fierce fighting.

According to Al Jazeera, a spokesperson described the capture as an important step in cutting the RSF's supply lines between North and West Kordofan.
