Iran and Turkey are seeking to raise bilateral trade to $30 billion, with the development of the Bazargan border, the opening of a fourth crossing, expanded rail and road transport and the creation of a joint Khoy–Van–Mersin free zone, according to the Tehran Times.
The Iranian outlet said trade between the two countries in the year 1404 was about $19.2 billion, including $6.8 billion in Iranian exports and $12.4 billion in imports.
