Iraqi F-16 fighter jets carried out two airstrikes targeting a hideout belonging to remnants of Daesh elements in the Nareen area, in eastern Diyala province, resulting in its complete destruction, according to the Security Media Cell. The strikes came less than two weeks after the US-led coalition’s mission against ISIS in Iraq officially ended on Sept. 30, according to operativmm.az, citing the Security Media Cell.
