At least 15 people, including three children, were killed in Zaporizhzhia after Russia hit the city with five glide bombs.

At least 16 others were injured and people are missing under the rubble, according to the BBC. Russian forces struck a five-story residential building in the city with guided aerial bombs early on October 10, according to the Kyiv Independent, which reported four dead and four injured in that strike. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attributed the attack to Russia expressing “its thanks” for a deal announced by US President Donald Trump easing sanctions on Moscow to import Russian diesel, according to the BBC.
