Two US Navy aviators ejected during landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D.

Eisenhower off the coast of Virginia on September 28, in what the Navy called a “mishap,” according to US Naval Institute News and the Associated Press. Both were recovered and evaluated aboard, while four shipboard personnel were injured, one of them taken to a Norfolk-area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
