Iranian armed forces will soon block illegal routes used to transport oil through the Strait of Hormuz, said Mohammad Reza Naghdi, an adviser to the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), according to TASS, citing the Fars agency.

Naghdi said the volume of oil transported illegally through the strait is extremely small, carried in small vessels up to tankers.
