The US Department of War announced a five-year contract, with two option years, worth up to $20.7 billion with Raytheon to produce Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM), nearly doubling production compared to previous levels.

RTX said the contract supports the annual production of at least 1,900 AMRAAM missiles.
