Two people died in a fire in the Darnytskyi neighbourhood in Kyiv as a result of Wednesday’s attack, according to France24, with information from the Agence France-Presse (AFP).

On the eve, Volodymyr Zelensky said there was updated intelligence indicating Russian preparation of a massive attack and that Ukraine’s position depended largely on what weaponry the allies could provide, according to Reuters, in a text republished by The Hindu.
