Indian police detained the head of the cockroach protest movement on Saturday, October 10, ahead of a protest against the Election Commission, according to AFP, in a text published by Le Monde.

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and two other leaders were also detained.
