Badr Abdelatty of Egypt urged Iran's Abbas Araghchi to help ease regional tensions and demanded that attacks on Saudi Arabia stop immediately, according to Middle East Eye.

Egypt's Foreign Ministry said Abdelatty described the attacks as “unacceptable” and said there was “no justification for these attacks”. Abdelatty also urged Tehran and Washington to resume talks, saying diplomacy was the only route to settling their disputes and averting further instability.
