The coordination center for humanitarian operations controlled by the Houthis called on airlines to avoid Saudi Arabia’s airspace, according to TASS, citing the Houthi-controlled SABA agency.

The same center said the kingdom’s airspace “will become a theater of military operations” for the rebel forces. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued an advisory to airlines to avoid Saudi airspace, according to Reuters, following a recent increase in Houthi attacks.
