The director of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization said on Saturday that flights operated by Iranian and Iraqi airlines between the two countries will resume on Sunday, according to Mehr News.
The Iraqi government had said on Friday that it reached an agreement allowing Iranian airlines, except Mahan Air, to operate 40 daily flights to and from Najaf, after Baghdad secured a US exemption, according to Mehr News.
