The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) denied Iranian state media reports that a US Navy MH-60R helicopter had crashed in the Red Sea after declaring an emergency, calling them false, according to Türkiye Today via CENTCOM.

According to the command, all US military aircraft and personnel across the Middle East are safe. The semi-official Fars agency claimed the helicopter sent an emergency signal near Yanbu and that radar data showed its altitude at zero.
