The Group of Seven (G7) agreed to release 100 million barrels of their energy reserves to help bring down diesel prices.
The release begins immediately, over four months, and includes a frontloaded substantial diesel release. The group also reiterated its commitment to avoid export restrictions on energy products between G7 countries, condemned Iran’s attack on its neighbours and said it will maintain sanctions against Russia.
