Forces of Yemen’s internationally recognised government recaptured Dhubab, just north of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, along with Bab and Hadeid, under Saudi coalition cover, according to the Times of India.
Saudi coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said 100 fighter jets are supporting government forces and that the coalition secured air protection of the strait. The escalation killed at least 959 people and wounded more than 4,200, with about 174,097 displaced inside Yemen, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
