For the first time, Latin America considers China's influence in the region more positive than that of the United States, according to the Latinobarómetro 2026 survey released this Friday (2), in a report by G1.
Positive assessment of Chinese influence rose from 48% in 2020 to 65% this year, while positive assessment of US influence fell from 60% to 57% over the same period.
