The Aframax Rio tanker was towed to a safe location after an attack by unmanned surface vessels, and specialists from the Marine Rescue Service are assessing its technical condition, according to TASS.
The Liberian-flagged vessel was set alight after coming under fire from unmanned boats on Tuesday evening off the coast of Sochi, and its crew of 23 people, all Indian citizens, was rescued, with preliminary information indicating no casualties, according to ABC News.
