Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Washington on Monday for talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to Reuters.

Rubio and Faisal met at the State Department as Saudi Arabia seeks US backing for its military campaign against the Houthis, according to Al-Monitor. The visit comes two days after Saudi Arabia said it intercepted multiple Houthi drones and ballistic missiles, also according to Al-Monitor.
