Israeli opposition leader Yair Golan said the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was a “mistake”, arguing that it did not serve Israel’s interests, according to the Middle East Eye, citing The Times of Israel.
Golan said the appointment of Khamenei’s son, Mojtaba Khamenei, had left Iran with “more extreme and violent individuals”.
