The first Tamir interceptors for the Iron Dome air defense system manufactured in the United States (US) were delivered at a ceremony in East Camden, Arkansas, on Wednesday, after being built at the new Raytheon-Rafael (R2S) joint-venture plant in Camden, opened in November 2025, according to The Jerusalem Post.
R2S was awarded a 1.25-billion-dollar contract to supply Israel with Tamir surface-to-air missiles, with production in East Camden, according to RTX.
