Saudi warplanes carried out airstrikes on multiple locations in Yemen early Tuesday local time, Houthi media reports, from Harf Sufyan district in Amran governorate, north of Sanaa, to Kamaran island and al-Qanawis district in al-Hodeidah governorate in western Yemen.
The Houthis said they targeted the airport in Riyadh late on Monday, after the group’s attacks on King Khalid International airport killed 14 people and injured hundreds in the previous two days. Houthi official Mohammed Al Bukhaiti threatened a quick and painful response against the United States and all its interests in the region if the US gets involved in the aggression against Yemen, in an interview with Agence France-Presse (AFP). Asked what he planned to do about the Houthis, Trump said they are “misbehaving very badly”.
