Israel’s military told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that soldiers were dispatched to Mikhmas, in the occupied West Bank, following a report of graffiti and arson at the mosque and damage to a vehicle, and that no suspects were identified.

An AFP journalist reported that slogans were spraypainted in Hebrew on the exterior walls, including “just because we are quiet doesn’t mean we are asleep”. Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque, an olive tree and a vehicle in the occupied West Bank, according to Al Jazeera, amid Israeli forces’ raids on villages across the territory.
