An adviser to the Revolutionary Guards commander, Mohammadreza Naqdi, told the Fars news agency that transit routes in the Strait of Hormuz deemed illegal by Iran will soon be closed, according to Reuters, in a text republished by Devdiscourse.
According to Naqdi, those routes were opened by blasting rocky passages in the waterway and would be used by small boats to smuggle oil, according to The Telegraph India.
