A retired Lebanese soldier was killed on Sunday by Israeli artillery fire while tending his land during the annual olive harvest in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese army.
The Lebanese army identified him as Ali Abdul Hassan Sweidan and said he was directly targeted while inspecting his property in Yater, in Bint Jbeil district.
