The US Central Command (Centcom) said it redirected 133 commercial vessels as of October 9 through the Strait of Hormuz to enforce the naval blockade against Iran.

In a post on X, Centcom called the US blockade against Iran “ironclad”. A second outlet, Ajel English, reported that Centcom announced 133 commercial vessels redirected to enforce the maritime blockade on Iran since its resumption.
