The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said on Friday it was carrying out a wide-ranging operation against the elements and capabilities of the Houthis, according to a statement by the coalition spokesperson.

The statement said that 136 military targets had been destroyed in areas controlled by the Houthis, adding that the coalition was providing round-the-clock air support to Yemeni government forces. The UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, told the Security Council that the country had slid back into full-scale war. According to the UN, at least 46 civilians have been killed and more than 130 injured since August in the fighting.
