Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Turkey will not send troops to Yemen to fight Houthi forces, despite its defence agreement with Saudi Arabia, according to Firstpost.
Fidan said the deal is defensive and does not authorise attacks on another country's territory. The Mecca Agreement, signed by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in August, commits the three to mutual defence, with an armed attack on one member treated as an attack on all three.
