Gaza is facing worsening shortages of medical equipment for diagnosing and monitoring thousands of patients, according to medical sources cited by the Palestinian agency Wafa.

According to the sources, 52 percent of medical laboratory equipment, including chemical analysis equipment, has been destroyed, making it impossible to maintain essential daily services.
