More than 145,000 people are displaced across eight governorates in Yemen since the escalation on the west coast in June, for a total of 145,308 people or 24,218 households, according to the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The total rose by 15,870 people since September 21 — up more than 12 percent in one week — with Taiz hosting 81,444 displaced people, more than half the national total.
