Two US officials told Reuters that fear of an Iranian drone attack plot on RAF Fairford led the country to remove its B-1 bombers from the British base, in a text published by the Middle East Eye.

Iran denied any involvement in the alleged plot at Fairford, the preferred European base for US bombers, according to the Middle East Eye.
