Iranian missile and drone attacks on ships in and around the Strait of Hormuz were at their most intense in the two weeks to October 11, the highest level since the US-Israeli strikes began seven months ago, according to the Financial Times, in a report by Middle East Eye.

Six vessels were attacked on Sunday alone — the deadliest day of attacks on shipping near the strait since the start of the conflict, the newspaper calculated. Oil shipments through Hormuz fell to 2.9 million barrels on October 11, the lowest daily volume this month, according to Kpler.
