The United States Central Command (Centcom) rejected the Iranian claim of control over the Strait of Hormuz, said American forces and regional partners clearly control the strait – with more than 19 million barrels of crude oil shipped with American assistance – and said the naval commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has no navy, according to the Middle East Eye.
