Israel launched a new wave of demolitions of olive groves in the occupied West Bank, with military orders to uproot trees on the eve of the olive harvest, which typically begins in October, according to Middle East Eye.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, 55 such orders were issued between the start of the year and September, affecting about 2,373 dunams, compared with 47 orders covering 1,613 dunams throughout 2025.
