Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said passengers and crew members stopped an attempted midair hijacking of a flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv after one of the pilots stabbed the other and tried to crash the aircraft, according to VINnews.

The airline said the reason for the altercation between the pilots is unknown and is under formal investigation. Both pilots were injured and taken to a hospital after landing in Tabuk, according to airport officials.
