The party of Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado demanded on Thursday, October 8, the immediate lifting of her ineligibility, according to Le Monde.

A former magistrate, Barbara Cesar Siero, said two of her brothers and her sister-in-law, all military personnel, were arrested in December 2023 to force her to sign the document that declared Machado ineligible.
