Raphaël Glucksmann won the French centre-left primary with 66.13% of the vote and will be the centre-left candidate in France’s 2027 presidential election.
Glucksmann, 46, who leads the Place Publique movement, won in the first round with an outright majority. More than 120,000 people voted, far fewer than the 2.8 million who took part in the Socialists’ 2011 primary.
