Hong Kong police arrested two people, including a journalist, for allegedly acting “with seditious intent”, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Local media identified the detainees as independent journalist Tang Ho-wing and activist Lee Ying-chi. They were detained for investigation under a homegrown national security law passed in 2024.
