A boat sinking off Djibouti overnight on October 8-9 killed at least 109 migrants, including 15 children, and left 116 missing, according to the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The vessel, carrying 350 people from Djibouti to Yemen, capsized north of the town of Obock. IOM teams are on the ground with local authorities providing emergency aid, according to The Hindu.
