The United States (US) suspended some of the world’s largest IT outsourcing firms — Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL and Capgemini — from the Permanent Labour Certification Programme, per an announcement by Labour Secretary Keith Sonderling, alongside Vice-President J.D. Vance.

The Department of Labour is also suspending Microsoft and Adobe from the programme.
