China declared it will firmly support Cuba in defending its sovereignty and resisting outside interference, according to the South China Morning Post.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun made the announcement on Monday, as Beijing and Havana marked 66 years of diplomatic relations. The announcement came after US President Donald Trump said Havana “will fall”, according to RT.
