Iranian airlines resumed flights to Najaf after the Iraqi government said it had secured an agreement with the United States allowing 40 daily flights to and from the city, except those of Mahan Air, according to the Middle East Eye.
Last month, Iraq enforced the US ban on Iranian carriers, especially at Najaf’s airport, a major hub for Iranian flights.
