Russia’s Defence Ministry said it had carried out a massive strike with precision weapons and drones on military-industrial facilities in Ukraine, in Kyiv and other regions.

The ministry confirmed the overnight strike and did not mention civilian casualties. In the Chernihiv region, a missile hit a five-storey residential building in Pryluky, killing nine people, including three children, and wounding 34, according to Ukraine’s Interior Minister, Ihor Vyhivskyi.
