A sixth man arrested in connection with the suspected terrorist plot at Fairford, a Royal Air Force (RAF) base, has been released on bail, the Guardian reported.

The 25-year-old, a dual UK-Iranian national, was arrested on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts under section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006. Counter-terrorism police said a quantity of petrol, but no explosive devices, was found in the vans that sparked the alert near the airbase.
